Han Yitian (b. 1986, Shandong Province) graduated from of the Department of Experimental Art of the School of Plastic Art, Central Academy of Fine Arts. He now works and lives in Beijing. His practice covers a wide range of media including performance, video, painting, sculpture and installation. Thanks to his focus on the conceptual as well as his mischievously quirky personality, Han Yitian is adept at deconstructing serious and classical aesthetics in a somewhat nonsensical manner to create new interpretations.
