Chen Baoyang, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in 1989, is a Sci-tech artist and curator whose work intricately weaves together the realms of art and technology. He is a graduate of Columbia University and the School of Visual Arts in New York, holding dual master's degrees that enrich his interdisciplinary approach. Currently, he is a faculty member at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where he teaches in the School of Experimental Art and Technology Art. Additionally, he contributes as a researcher at the Beijing Advanced AI and Data Art Laboratory, exploring the dynamic intersection of art and advanced technologies. Chen's artistic practice critically examines the power shifts resulting from emerging technologies and delves into the ideological effects of tech as a formative cultural force. He has held solo exhibitions in globally recognized venues such as the Zhejiang Art Museum, Wuhan K11, Shanghai Cc Art Center, Quantum Gallery, Yang Gallery, and Yun Tu Gallery in New York.
