Media Creation and Ontology Transit: Robot Art in China

HOW Art Museum is pleased to announce that Media Creation and Ontology Transit: Robot Art in China,  the exhibitionon on the second floor of HOW Art Museum, will be on view from April 21, 2025. The exhibition curated by Zhang Haitao, exams China's humanoid robotic art as an important form of Embodied Artificial Intelligence (EAI) .  
When humanoid robots approach humans with their steel bodies, they are not just tools, but embodied with perception to the world and can take actions autonomously, thus put the ontology of traditional human cognition under attack. The highly integrated EAI demands the reconstruction of social rules and orders, even new ethical and moral standards in our society. How are we going to land? The exhibition provides some visual and perceptive responses to these hot topics.
