    JIA Hui (b.1993, Kunming, Yunnan) graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in 2017. She currently lives and works in Shanghai.JIA Hui's practice explores sections of abstract apparatuses constructed with formal elements, such as shape, color, line, texture and volume in painting and sculpture. By creating metaphorical forms that resonate with existing entities in the universe, JIA's practice manifests the understanding of "create something from nothing."
