Su Yongjian graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree, and is currently a professional teacher at Beijing Film Academy. He is the only winner of the "First Step Award", the highest graduation award of CAFA in 2017. His creations in recent years are mostly based on interdisciplinary and cross-field cooperation, involving electronic materials, biomaterials, artificial intelligence, sensor technology and mechanical processing and other media, focusing on exploring post-nature, post-life and post-ecology in the context of art + technology. Many of his works have been exhibited in important exhibitions across the country, Switzerland, Germany and Venice, and have been published and reported in many important magazines and media in art industry. |
